As a VP of Business Development, you will...

  • Direct, support, and coordinate all business development activities for a current team of 6.  Team is expected to grow by 2-3 over the next 12 months.
  • Engage in solution-centered conversations with decision makers to discover their particular needs and goals and communicate that effectively to internal teams.
  • Foster relationships with major players in our industry to leverage their reach into our potential key-client base.
  • Set and secure meetings with target executives to evangelize the brand and set up introductions for BDMs.
  • Ensure that BNR is building on-going business relationships with clients and prospects by collaborating closely with sales and operations teams.
  • Lead regular strategic assessments of existing and potential sales with top accounts, channels and products.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Operations to develop an executable sales strategy that increases revenue across all service lines year over year.
  • Build and manage sales team by setting specific, measurable strategies for the sales team that are inline with the overall company strategy and guiding them to success.
  • Manage pipeline and develop accurate forecasting of sales and timeline.
  • Participate in tech sales process with designers, sales engineer and development engineers, ensuring client goals are met and projects are set up for success.
  • Define and oversee the improvement of sales operational tools, playbooks, guides, and processes.
  • Expect to spend ⅔ of time supporting team and ⅓ time on direct client management with top accounts.

As a candidate, you...

  • Have 7-10 years of proven sales experience, preferably in technology, serving enterprise level clients.
  • Must have experience selling complex professional services.
  • Enjoy building a dynamic team and mentoring sales professionals toward success.
  • Have 5 years experience directly managing a team of sales professionals.  Must possess strong leadership skills with a combination of customer-first thinking and metrics-oriented actions.
  • Are comfortable with occasional travel when needed.
  • Are interested in working in our Atlanta office, this is not a remote position.
